On October 2, the traditional "Armenia and Artsakh Day" event took place in the French city of Clamart. During this unique fair, Armenian organizations operating in France presented their mission and programs, offered various items and souvenirs to the visitors of the pavilions. The event was accompanied by Armenian folk music and dance.
This year, the Aznavour Foundation took part in the fair with its own stand, presenting social projects implemented by the Foundation, in particular, the "Grants to Wounded Soldiers" program, as well as some souvenirs related to Charles Aznavour's work. Visitors of our stand had the opportunity to support the Foundation's programs, as well as take home some beautiful souvenirs.
Charles Aznavour's son Misha Aznavour attended the event and spent about 2 hours in the pavilion, signing autographs for the visitors. Then our guests at the stand were Marie-Claire Margosian, the author of book "The Children of War", and Jean-Christophe Buisson, journalist and deputy editor of Figaro magazine, who interacted with our visitors and signed the book for them.
Throughout the day, our friends Frank Ohanessian and Milena Avetisyan did a wonderful job at the Aznavour Foundation stand.
We thank the city of Clamart, the organizers of the fair, represented by Jacqueline Minassian, and everyone who supported us.
