As part of the centenary celebrations of Charles Aznavour, the official opening of a retrospective film screening dedicated to the artist took place on September 7 at Yerevan's Swan Lake. This initiative aims to honor Aznavour as an actor with a cinematic legacy spanning over 90 films.
During the opening ceremony, Kristina Aznavour, Executive Director of the Aznavour Foundation, and H.E. Mr. Olivier Decottignies, the French Ambassador to Armenia, delivered speeches.
Following the ceremony, the documentary "Aznavour by Charles" was screened, with an introduction by Misha Aznavour, the son of Charles Aznavour and the film's producer.
The "Aznavour in Cinema" retrospective will continue until September 10.
