On August 30, the official opening of an innovative histopathology laboratory took place in Vanadzor Medical Center. The creation of the laboratory became possible as a result of cooperation between the Aznavour Foundation and the Embassy of Japan in Armenia.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health of RA, Armen Nazaryan, H. E. Mr. Masanori Fukushima, Ambassador of Japan to Armenia, Nicolas Aznavour, Co-founder and Chairman of the Aznavour Foundation, Kristina Aznavour, CEO of the Aznavour Foundation, Vahagn Mkrtchyan, Director of the Vanadzor Medical Center and other guests.
The new laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, which will enable experts to conduct complex examinations on the spot and make accurate diagnoses for further medical interventions.
The location of the laboratory is of strategic importance: it will serve about 5000 beneficiaries per year. Our goal is to provide access to up-to-date diagnostic services for both Lori and neighboring regions, thereby significantly contributing to the decentralization of quality healthcare services in the country.
The presence of the laboratory will now allow to carry out numerous complex researches of vital significance on the spot․
