The historical bust created by a sculptor Alice Melikian in 1964 during the first visit of Charles Aznavour to Armenia will be placed in the center of Paris.
The bust handing ceremony took place on October 1, 2019. Nicolas Aznavour, co-founder of the Aznavour Foundation, in his speech emphasized: "Charles Aznavour is intimately associated with Paris for the whole world, and the Foundation is sincerely grateful to the Municipality of Paris for supporting us to preserve and honor Aznavour’s legacy. We have many plans in France and for France and this is just the beginning."
