Staying true to its mission of promoting French culture and language, the Aznavour Foundation is happy to announce its support to the 10th annual cultural and scientific event "Journées de la Littérature française," which will be held in Yerevan on 22-25 October 2021.
The event is being organized by the France based association "Journées de la Littérature française" in close collaboration with the French Embassy in Armenia.
This initiative has the objective of mainstream the French language and literature through a series of university conferences and lectures, film screenings, exhibitions of literary archival documents, etc.
The new 2021 edition, entitled "Baudelaire and Flaubert, Myths of Modernity. Crossed Portraits", will celebrate the bicentenary of these two giants of the French literature.
On this occasion Yerevan will host two of Baudelaire’s greatest specialists, André Guyaux, Professor Emeritus at the University of Sorbonne, Andrea Schellino, Senior Lecturer, responsible for the Baudelaire Group at ITEM (École Normale Supérieure - CNRS), as well as Bernard Franco, Professor of comparative literature at the University of Sorbonne.
Congratulations to all the participants and organizers of this great project!
