Launch of the Bilingual Dramatic Art Workshop program

On October 4, the press conference dedicated to the start of the second round of the "Bilingual Dramatic Art Workshop" program took place.

For this round, 30 participants were selected: professional and newly graduated artists, 20 of them from Yerevan, and 10 from Gyumri.

From October 2022 to April - 2023 well-known artists from the field of theater and cinema will arrive in Armenia to work with young Armenian artists. Each invited specialist will work one week in Yerevan and one week in Gyumri.

At the end of the project the results of the five-month work will be synthesized in the form of a performance by Michel Bernard, creative director from Belgium.

The play is planned to be presented in France and Belgium. At the end of the project, the students who have achieved particular success will also have the opportunity to do an internship at the JLMB studio in Paris.

The project become possible thanks to generous support of the Embassy of France in Armenia, "Aznavour" Foundation, International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), Ile de France Region, AGBU France, TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, "SPFA", "KASA", "Miassine" Foundations with the participation of the Russian Drama Theater after Stanislavsky and Gyumri Municipality.
