Third plane from Paris landed in Yerevan

On December 11, 2020, the third plane from Paris landed in Yerevan, delivering humanitarian aid collected by the Aznavour Foundation and its partners (wheelchairs, stretchers, walkers, medical equipment, masks, medicines, care kits, etc. clothing), school material from UNICEF and material donated by the Véolia Foundation to the Aznavour Foundation (hygiene kits and duvets) for later distribution.

The aid will be distributed to the population affected by the war in Nagorno-Kharabakh, in cooperation with our partners. This third flight transferring humanitarian aid is carried out thanks to the French government, in coordination with the Crisis and Support Center of the Ministry of Europe and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Reception of this flight is ensured on site by the French Embassy in Armenia under the direction of the French Ambassador Jonathan Lacôte.

This constant assistance demonstrates France’s solidarity with Armenia and its population affected by the war in Nagorno-Karabakh.

As part of this large mobilization, two planes have already been chartered by the French government to deliver humanitarian aid to Armenia in November.

We would like to once again express our utmost gratitude to all the organizations and individuals that helped us gather these goods in France and Switzerland. Our cooperation will continue and soon the fourth plane with medical supplies, hygiene products and warm clothes will arrive in Yerevan.
“We stay human for as long as we support those in need and are ready to land a helping hand. We believe that only with our unity we can overcome these difficult times. I want to send my empathy and love to my brothers and sisters from Artsakh”
said Kristina Aznavour, CEO of the Aznavour Foundation.
