Aida Aznavour Scholarship
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Aida Aznavour-Garvarentz, the Aznavour Foundation, together with the State College of Culture and Arts after Charles Aznavour initiated the Aida Aznavour Scholarship program.
Aida Aznavour, the older sister of Charles Aznavour and the wife of the famous French-Armenian composer Georges Garvarentz, is also a musical artist. Aida and her brother Charles were inseparable throughout their lives. In their childhood years they used to make appearances in small plays,nurturing dreams of gracing a grand stage.
Both Aida and Charles Aznavour dedicated themselves to supporting young and talented individuals in the arts, helping them achieve success and persevere in their careers. Through this special scholarship initiative, the Aznavour Foundation continues the legacy of the Aznavour siblings, committed to nurturing the growth of gifted young artists.
