On the occasion of Charles Aznavour's 100th birthday in 2024, the Aznavour Foundation is preparing a wide program of international events. Among these initiatives, a central role is assigned to the “Aznavour Classique” project.
As part of the celebrations, the concert will go on a world tour and Aznavour's works will be performed by prominent orchestras from different countries.
During this first concert, the great titles of Charles Aznavour were performed by Kristina Aznavour and the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, under the direction of guest conductor Nicola Simoni.
The concert took place with the exceptional participation of Erik Berchot (piano) and Didier Guazzo (percussion), world-renowned musicians who accompanied Charles Aznavour during his tours.
The Aznavour Foundation is launching a new project by offering the public the opportunity to listen to Aznavour's music with a classical tinge - performed by a symphony orchestra.
To this end, some of the famous songs by the legendary artist have been united in a concert suite by renown pianist Erik Berchot, and orchestrated for symphony orchestra on the initiative of the Foundation.
