CREATED BY CHARLES AZNAVOUR AND HIS SON NICOLAS AZNAVOUR AIMS AT CONTINUING THE HUMANITARIAN WORK STARTED BY THE LEGENDARY ARTIST.
THE FOUNDATION DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, SOCIAL AND MEDICAL PROJECTS IN ARMENIA AND AROUND THE WORLD. ANOTHER IMPORTANT AXIS OF ITS MISSION IS TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE THE CULTURAL AND HUMANITARIAN HERITAGE OF CHARLES AZNAVOUR.
Charles Aznavour began his high-impact humanitarian activities in the aftermath of the earthquake that struck Armenia on December 7, 1988, resulting in tens of thousands of casualties and hundreds of thousands of people displaced. Over the course of 30 years, his humanitarian endeavors have facilitated the execution of numerous charitable initiatives in the country.
Charles Aznavour was also involved in the fight against cancer and Alzheimer's disease and provided significant support to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Through his art and global initiatives, he constantly battled against all forms of discrimination.
Today, the Aznavour Foundation undertakes to further pursue the humanitarian achievements of Charles Aznavour, as well as to preserve and promote his heritage.

Initiate long-term campaigns to perpetuate his name, his art and the humanitarian values he embodied.
Implement special projects aimed at the discovery of talented youth, provide them mentoring and support to achieve their goals. Promote Armenia and Armenian culture in the French speaking world.
Undertake educational projects focusing on the French language and on the discovery of French culture, knowledge and protection of authors’ intellectual property and related rights.
Support relief projects which were initiated by Charles Aznavour since the devastating earthquake of 1988. Mobilize its resources and network to support urgent causes such as the fight against Covid-19 and the war affected population after the Artsakh war in 2020.
