Economic empowerment
for widows of war
Status: In Progress
Social
Our goal is to provide a space where widows of war feel heard, acknowledged, and supported as they work to rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities.

Charles Aznavour's deep commitment to improving lives has left a lasting impact worldwide. The Aznavour Foundation proudly continues this mission with the launch of the "Economic Empowerment for Widows of War" initiative.

This initiative aims to support the countless courageous women who lost their loved ones in the aftermath of the 44-day war in Artsakh and the displacement of the Armenian population. By fostering entrepreneurship and providing targeted financial assistance the project will help establish businesses in various fields, empowering and uplifting widows affected by conflict.
“Economic Empowerment for Widows of War” is a people-focused initiative designed to support women who have lost their husbands in times of conflict and who often face personal, social, and economic challenges as a result. The project highlights their strength and determination, while also encouraging long-term support and recognition.

Why This Matters
Beyond individual empowerment, the project will create a ripple effect of economic resilience, strengthening entire communities. By investing in these women, we invest in a sustainable future.
